Meet your Injector
Adelaida Doimeadios
DNP, FNP-BC
I am a double Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. I began my journey in 2010 at Miami Dade College, where I obtained my ASN in 2013. I then went to pursue my BSN-RN at Nova Southeastern University. A few weeks after graduating, I passed the NCLEX, making me a licensed RN. I began working in the specialty field of asthma, allergy, and immunology directly out of university as a new graduate in 2016. I always knew that working in a hospital setting was not for me. I’m a go-getter and ambition drives me, thus, not long after, in 2018, I decided to continue pursuing the rest of my career.
Once more, I started school for what would be my final stretch. I attended Florida Atlantic University for my BSN-DNP, and it was a heck of a journey. Between 2018 and 2021, I was in school full time, worked full time, became a mother for the first time in 2019 and then again in 2021, and if that was not enough, everyone, including myself, experienced a global pandemic. If there is one thing that I always say to everyone, including my patients is, “if there is a will, there is a way.” I am proud to say that after all of my hard work and sleepless nights, I now have my terminal degree in nursing.
Through the years 2018 and 2021, I found a new passion for the world of cosmetics and decided to advance my education and become certified in both botulinum toxins and dermal fillers by Esthetic Skin Institute. After a lot of hard work and several training sessions later, I officially opened NUE Esthetics where I now inject to enhance natural beauty every day while enjoying the fruits of my labor.
Microneedling + PRP
Microneedling with PRP is a cosmetic treatment that uses fine needles to prick the skin while applying platelets, which are one of the components of blood to the skin to stimulate extra collagen production, helping scars heal and reducing signs of aging. People may consider having microneedling with PRP if they want to treat certain marks or blemishes on the body or face for cosmetic reasons. Practitioners may use microneedling with PRP to treat acne scars, surgical scars, wrinkles and fine lines, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and large pores.
Injectables
Injectables are chemical substances that are used underneath the skin or muscle to relax the appearance of wrinkles and/or fine lines. Over the years, injectables have grown in popularity in the beauty industry. PRP, Dermal Fillers, Toxins, and Collagenase are all injectables to enhance your natural beauty. It is important to remember that we are all unique and each individual will require a different treatment based on evaluation.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
for Hair Loss
PRP is a treatment that has been proven to restore hair growth and accelerate follicle production. With this minimally invasive procedure, you can see noticeable hair growth in as little as 3-4 months with long lasting results. This treatment works best for men and women that suffer from androgenic alopecia that still have active hair follicles.
QUESTIONS?
WE’VE GOT ANSWERS
What results can I expect from my treatment?
Expect a decrease in dynamic activity (wrinkles that form when you make expressions) with a diminished appearance of your static lines (wrinkles visible when your face is relaxed). All while you maintain your natural appearance and a healthy amount of facial movement.
How should I prepare for my treatment?
Refrain from drinking alcohol or taking any blood-thinning medication such as Advil, Ibuprofen, or Aspirin 24 hours before your appointment (unless prescribed to you by a provider to take as part of a daily regimen). If you’re sensitive to pain, you can use an OTC topical numbing cream 30 minutes prior to your visit. Keep in mind, we will also ask you to wait 24 hours after your treatment to do vigorous physical activity (so plan your excercise classes around this!).
Are there any side effects?
Botox has been studied for over 30 years and is known to have very minimal side effects (and adverse effects are rare). The most common side effects are bruising, although minimal, and mild redness/swelling to your injection site. Side effects are temporary and self-limiting. We are happy to discuss your concerns with you at your complimentary consultation.
Can I go back to work afterward?
Yes! Immediately after the injections, you will have small “mosquito-like” bumps. Those will go away within 15-20 minutes of you icing the area.
When should I come back for my next treatment?
We recommend returning for your next preventative botox treatment approximately every 3 months.
Which wrinkle relaxer is right for me?
As of now, NUE Esthetics carries the neuromodulators (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau®) that are FDA-approved for aesthetic injections and have the same active ingredient: Botulinum toxin type A. All products last a comparable amount of time and provide you with similar results, but some are dosed differently or contain different inactive ingredients.
Do you offer fillers?
Yes. NUE Esthetics offers both wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers.
Do you treat other areas?
We only treat the 3 areas currently approved by the FDA: the Glabella (between your eyebrows), Frontalis (forehead), and Lateral Canthal lines (crow’s feet).
